How to Control Binge Eating ?
Binge eating is a common problem that everyone has faced before, however; for some, binge eating occurs every time we sit down at the table.

Steps

  1. Drink a glass of water before you start eating. This will help you to feel full because your stomach will already have space filled up with water.
  2. Don't eat or drink anything with sugar in it prior to eating. (Usually when the onset of hunger occurs.) This can make you feel even more hungry which can cause you to eat even more.
  3. Don't wait all day to have a meal. As soon as you start to feel hungry, go ahead and eat. It's best to have 5 spaced out smaller meals, than to have 3 large ones.
  4. Choose a smaller plate. This works because if you pile up the food on the small plate, you are less likely to go back up for more and more because you feel like you have eaten enough because you have already gotten up twice, for example.
